Last year I wrote about how I thought the original Left 4 Dead was overpriced, [...]

While the post-apocalyptical setting is one which has been treaded time and again, the post-post-apocalyptical is one that has seen few renditions. Ninja Theory (developer of Heavenly Sword) is hoping to quickly change that fact with Enslaved, their newly announced IP which is set to fall into the hands of gamers sometime in 2010. Little [...]

Recently the NBA Live 10 demo was made available on the Xbox Live Marketplace, and I got a chance to get a hands-on look at the game. It starts in the NBA hangar, like Live 09, and in it are stars like Dwayne Wade, Lebron James, Kobe Bryant and Dwight Howard. For newcomers to the [...]

Check out Exhibit A at the top, with the word PIMP. Admittedly it’s really [...]

During this weekend’s Penny Arcade Expo, I spoke with Turbine Communications Director Adam Mersky about major changes to two of their most popular MMORPGs, Dungeons and Dragons Online and Lord of the Rings Online.
As it was announced on June 9th, DDO will experience an especially big transformation, adding a free-to-play (F2P) option with microtransactions. [...]

Welcome to GameOnn’s new monthly column featuring my personal pick on the best indie game developer. As August is coming to an end I thought it would be nice to give credit to the fine guys at Twisted Pixel for making games that are built upon such a simple concept, yet deliver on so many [...]

We all know times are hard these days. A lot of people are out of work or had to serious cut back on their spending habits. We gamers are no different from anyone else when it comes to the all mighty dollar. We need every dime we can get and those dimes that we do [...]

As the Fall season approaches we are preparing for the launch of Facebook and Twitter services on Xbox Live. Microsoft is defiantly trying to get as many people as possible hooked up with these services as evidenced by today’s price drop announcement. However a news story broke this morning about the Fall update which was [...]
