Earlier in September I named Twisted Pixel as my favorite indie game developer of the month. It brings a unique style to downloadable titles that we don’t tend to get very often. I certainly didn’t expect to see Twisted Pixel’s next project so soon, but the developer sent out a press release this week that said it would show a video presentation from its next game at PAX. That time has come and we now know the name of the new game is Comic Jumper: The Adventures of Captain Smiley.
Not too much is known about this game so far the video suggests it will be hilarious. The smiley face hero dons a traditional super hero garb with a sarcastic talking star resting on his chest. The art style of the game will change as you visit different comics and includes at least one gun.
We’ll keep our ears to the ground for more information on this title. Twisted Pixel just may have another hit on its hands.
