We all have a collection somewhere in our homes. Old video games that we no longer play, crappy games that we received as presents and are still shrink wrapped, or games that GameStop can’t buy such as computer games. You want to get rid of these games but have been unsuccessful. Well, you’ll be able to do so in one fell swoop — provided you’re going to PAX this weekend.
To promote the launch of Donate Games’ website, founder Jim Carol and some volunteers will be at PAX accepting your used video games. Donate Games is a charity that supports people afflicted with orphan diseases through the donation and sale of used video games.
There will be three drop-off spots at PAX: the 6th floor East Lobby; 4th floor Queue Room; and the 3rd floor Handheld Lounge. Donate Games staff will be there during all three days of PAX to receive your old games and issue tax-deductible receipts. And yes, they also accept used computer games.
