The PlayStation Blog has announced that the highly anticipated, feminist-angering game Fat Princess will finally drop this Thursday, July 30th on the PlayStation Network. The game will cost $14.99 and will be released simultaneously in North America, Europe, and Asia. There are plans for a Japan release as well, but there’s no information on that yet.
Fat Princess is essentially a capture-the-flag scenario in which you must rescue your princess from the other castle. However, in addition to fighting you tooth and nail along the way, your enemies will ply your royal highness with lots of cake to make her too fat for your team to carry.
In a PlayStation Blog interview, Fat Princess developers Chris Millar and Craig Leigh answer readers’ questions that include trophies, multiplayer features, DLC, and even a potential dev vs. gamer event. Watch the video for more details.
