SEGA will be holding an ideas exchange session this Wednesday July 29th for new, potential games to port to the iPhone and iPod Touch. So far they’ve ported old school titles like Sonic the Hedgehog (naturally), Golden Axe, and Streets of Rage.
Although they welcome any wild, out-there ideas, there are some limits. One is that it has to be a SEGA published title. Games from other publishers won’t be considered, even if it’s appeared on past SEGA consoles. In addition, they don’t want any original game ideas, so wannabe developers hoping for that big break can leave their propositions for a Mega Man vs. Sonic crossover game at home. They are looking for ports, after all.
You can submit your SEGA iPhone/iPod Touch game ideas via SEGA’s Twitter or Facebook pages, and their community forums.
