We understand how difficult it is to run through Red Faction Guerrilla’s storyline without getting sidetracked for hours committing random acts of destruction. There’s something liberating about picking up that sledgehammer and making a beeline towards the nearest cornerstone and watching the aftermath. Now that THQ has announced three new download packs, it’s okay to see how the guerrilla fight ends without feeling like there’s nothing else to experience.
The first download pack is called Demons of the Badlands and it takes place in a totally new section of Mars that was inaccessible in the main story. It will expand the single player experience by creating a new mission story arch that’s almost guaranteed to have many a building to blow up in various ways.
Demons of the Badlands will be released on August 13 on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network for $9.99 or 800 Microsoft points. THQ hasn’t mentioned what the other two pieces of DLC will be but it promises to give more details on its website in the future.
