July 1 is also known as Canada Day around the world. It celebrates the day in which the four provinces of Canada was united to form one big country. Usually this wouldn’t have anything to do with videogames but when 1,300 Xbox 360 are stolen we can’t help but get involved.
According to The Star four to five men entered a trailer yard in Mississauga last Sunday where they attacked and restrained a security guard. After they tied him up and placed him under a trailer, the men stole an Air-Ride trailer that contained 1,300 Xbox 360 consoles. The total cost of all those consoles are worth an estimated $780,000.
Authorities say the trailer has Ontario license plate number of C11-47X and a trailer identification number of 55334. If you’re cruising the streets of Mississauga and someone’s offering some cheap Xbox 360′s, this is probably where they got them from.
