Blizzcon 2009 Offers Live Stream…for $39.95

Blizzard announced today that they will be offering, for the first time ever, a live stream of their annual Blizzcon convention for $39.95. If you’re a DIRECTV subscriber you can order the pay-per-view event from them, the same as last year.

Is it just me or isn’t this a bit greedy of Blizzard? I mean common, E3 was streamed live for free this year and no offence to Blizzard, but E3 is much more important that Blizzcon. Just seems very greedy to me. At least give people with a World of Warcraft subscription a free pass to watch it.
